BEHAVIOURAL RESEARCH

The field of longevity is evolving rapidly. Advances in nutrition science, biomarker testing, AI-driven health tracking, and personalised medicine are transforming how we think about ageing and wellbeing. Yet while the science races ahead, people’s understanding, and behaviour, often lags behind.

Many still make choices that run counter to their long-term health goals. We eat in ways that don’t serve us, ignore sleep, or delay lifestyle changes we know we should make. These contradictions aren’t simply a matter of knowledge, they’re deeply rooted in beliefs, emotions, habits and social norms.

That’s where qualitative research provides invaluable insights.

In-depth interviews, focus groups, ethnography and observation allow us to explore the why behind behaviour. The underlying motivations, fears, biases and stories that shape people’s decisions about their health and longevity.

It provides the human insight needed to design products, services and communications that resonate. Helping organisations, practitioners and innovators navigate this rapidly changing landscape.

HOW I CAN HELP
YOUR ORGANISATION

For more than 25 years I’ve helped organisations make better decisions about the things that matter to them. By uncovering what truly shapes people’s choices; the often-hidden beliefs, motivations and social influences that determine how we live, work and look after ourselves.

My background is in psychology and health behaviour change. Underpinned by the principles of behavioural science. This allows me to explore not just what people do, but why they do it.

I offer tailored research and consultancy for organisations seeking to:

  • Understand target audiences’ health and lifestyle behaviours

  • Develop effective health and longevity programmes

  • Create environments that make healthy choices easier

  • Design communications that motivate behaviour change

  • Innovate and test new product and service concepts

  • Translate scientific evidence into engaging communications and experiences

The goal is always to turn complex human behaviour into clear, evidence-based strategies for positive, sustainable change.
