FAQs
GOT QUESTIONS? LET'S COVER A FEW BASICS
Q: Do I need to be super fit to do this?
Not at all. This is about starting from where you are and building at your own pace.
Q: What if I travel or miss a session?
No problem, we’ll reschedule. Flexibility is built in. The Plan is divided into 12 modules. You can do these at your own pace; spread across a year, or in as little as three months.
Q: Does The Plan include the cost of testing?
There are no paid-for tests that are essential for The Plan. However, you will need wearable tech - such as smart watch, blood pressure monitor and smart scales. I can give you advice and support if you’ve not used them before.
Your GP may be happy to provide the recommended blood tests. If you wanted to use a CGM, or get a Dexascan, then these do cost, but they are not essential.
Q: Is blood testing essential?
No, it’s optional. Some clients love the insights, others prefer a simpler approach. I’ll help you decide what’s right for you.
Q: Do I need a gym membership or personal trainer?
Once again, it’s optional. Some clients enjoy the gym and maybe already work with a PT. In which case, I’m happy to collaborate. But neither is essential.

Q: Does The Plan constitute medical advice?
No. The Longevity Plan is designed to give you proven functional strategies to support your health and wellbeing. But it is not medical advice, and it’s not a replacement for professional diagnosis or treatment.
Changing your lifestyle can have real effects. Most of them good, but sometimes not right for everyone. That’s why it’s essential to check with your doctor before making any significant changes or following the recommendations we discuss.

Q: Is The Plan suitable for people with chronic conditions?
It depends. I am not a doctor and The Plan isn’t a replacement for medical care, but I’m happy to work alongside it. If you’re unsure, let’s talk it through.
Q: Can my partner and I do it together?
Yes, learning and experimenting together is a good option for some people.

Q: Face-to-face or video sessions, which are best for me?
Most people find video calls more practical. However, if you would prefer to come to me, then I’m happy to meet in person.

Q: What if I spend some or all my time outside of the UK?
This isn’t a problem, as sessions are typically done over video call.

Q: When will the sessions take place?
We all have busy lives and will be as flexible as possible. Daytime, evenings and even the occasional weekend; whatever’s best for you.

Q: Who is the Plan designed for?
There is no typical person. It's for anyone 40+ who’s ready to commit to the changes needed to build a long and healthy life. The earlier you begin, the greater the dividends, but it’s still possible to make remarkable progress starting in your 60s and 70s.
Q: How does it work day-to-day?
It's likely to be a challenging and intense experience. The sessions are full of information and guidance, with much to be done by you in between sessions. You’ll be fully supported from start to finish.
Q: What would be my time commitment?
Beyond the one hour sessions there will be a number of things you need to do. These are likely to take longer at first, but as you gain experience and build new habits, they'll become part of your daily life.
