A LIFE SPENT STUDYING BEHAVIOUR - INCLUDING MY OWN

I’ve always been fascinated by why we do what we do, especially when it comes to our health. I’ve studied human behaviour academically, researched it professionally, and explored it personally.

Now in my 60s, I’ve seen both the rewards and regrets that come from the choices we make over a lifetime. But I’ve also discovered that meaningful change is always possible. By making small, intentional shifts, I’ve managed to slow, and in some cases even reverse, the signs of ageing in my own life.

These insights have led me to a clear mission: helping others navigate midlife and beyond with greater vitality, resilience, and confidence. My approach is grounded in science and shaped by real life. I hold a degree in Psychology (London Metropolitan University) and a Certificate in Health Behaviour Change from Yale University.

Yes, we’re all getting older. But how we age? That’s something we can influence. It’s never too late to take better care of your health and actively manage your own ageing process.

MY LIFE METAPHOR

I admire sprinters – their explosive power and intense energy. But my love is endurance running.

I don’t run to win races, I probably never will. I run because I enjoy the journey. As Robert Louis Stevenson said: ‘To travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive’. And when it comes to life, no one wants to arrive.

For me, running isn’t about strong legs, it’s all about heart and mind. To go the distance, I believe that you need optimism, discipline, patience, resilience, and focus. And all-round good health.

And while I do run the occasional marathon, it's really about the joy of being in the moment. Movement - doing what our bodies were naturally designed to.

Because running, like life, is a process, not a project.
